Burning an incense stick after a hot shower,

a skin care routine, moisturizing your body,

celebrating all you do for yourself,

all that you're learning,

anticipating what you're becoming,

Knowing growth is life.

Being back in your body, paying attention to it.

Reading a book, writing a blog,

holding reverence for many things

The very idea of "reverence"

and the blessing of holding it.

Solitude is gratitude for seeing, experiencing, colors ,tastes,

cultivating, curating, and decorating life as you want it.

Being gifted,

undeserving of the privilege to witness life in detail.

It's resting,

getting rest that feels luxurious,

walking around naked, looking around you knowing "this place is mine and little-girl-me would love this" .

Solitude is being in only your judgment,

being married to your trust monogamously.

It is being your parent and loving your child,

being your spouse and being honored to die with them.

It's admiration for the story your body tells with its art

watching how you learn, witnessing every "aha".

It's kissing your mirror and meaning what that means.

It's looking at your closet and loving who was built.

It's the privilege to agree with why God loves you.
