Witnessing

Witnessing is such a beautiful term in journaling.

I also use "observe" and "analyzing" but there is a peacefulness to witnessing.


Witnessing is outside yourself. You are simply there. You aren't going out your way to make any particular observations, conclusions, or to collect data to analyze. There's no mission associated with witnessing outside of the witnessing itself. It is the present and still part of journaling.
